As you can see we got snow. This was just the first round. It also thawed a little and left a coating of ice. About a week later (or last Wednesday) we got over a foot. The car died right before hubby left for three weeks and that means me trying to get it fixed. I finally got it fixed on Tuesday of last week and got it home and parked it in the driveway. Our driveway is not flat and it was covered in ice. We were told that our tires were fine for winter here, but as the car slid down the driveway into the road I thought maybe not. I panicked since I had just gotten out and turned and ended up on my back on the ice screaming in pain. Needless to say don't chase your car. We are heading to Turkey at the end of the week. We hope everyone has a Merry Christmas or in Norwegian God Jul. I will blog about our trip either while we are there or when we get back.
